eCustom Adult Basic Tees

General Information 
We use Gildan Ultra Cotton Tee brand t-shirts.  The shirts consist of: 100% preshrunk jersey, 6.1oz with a seamless collar, taped neck and shoulders, cover-stitched neckline, double-needle sleeves and bottom hem.  (Ash 99/1, Grey 90/10 polyester)

Sizes  
Most colors come in sizes S-3XL.   The following colors are only available from S-2XL : Azalea, Charcoal, Chestnut, Daisy, Heliconia, Indigo, Iris, Jade Dome, Leaf Green, Light Pink, Military Green, Pine, Pistachio, Serene Green, Tan, Tangerine, and Yellow Haze.

How We Print on the Shirt
We use digital printing technology to put the image on the shirt.   We do not screen print.   The image and text are printed directly on the shirt.  Digital printing allows us to print unlimited colors and even photos on a single shirt.   With screen printing, you would pay per color and have to order a minimum quantity of usually at least 12 shirts.

Digital Print Quality
We have had great success with digital shirt printing.   The shirt will feel a little more natural than the rubber feel of screen printing and will not crack like screen printing.   To make sure the print does not fade, you should always wash it inside out in cold water. 

Washing Instructions
Always wash your shirt inside-out in cold water without bleach to avoid fading the print.  Slight fading after the first few washes may occur and is not abnormal. 

Digital Printing on Color Shirts
Digital printing on color shirts is a fairly new technology, but we have had great feedback so far.   The main difference between screen printed dark shirts and digitally printed dark shirts is that pure white lettering and images may be slightly whiter when screen printed because of the type of ink involved that does not soak into the shirt like digital printing.   Yet, people are happy with our white colors on dark shirts.

Artwork for Dark Shirts
The most important thing to consider when making artwork for dark/color shirts is that your artwork may have a white backround.  If you do not want a white square around your artwork, you must remove the white background and replace it with "transparent".   The best way to do this is to use a program like Photoshop to erase the white background and save it as a PNG image with a transparent background.   If you do not know how to do this, our image upload function in the designer has a checkbox that will try to do it for you!   If you still don't get it, contact us and we will try to help you get your artwork into a state that will make a great t-shirt!

Below shows a list of colors we offer for our basic adult tees.   Please keep in mind that the colors shown are for reference only and may not reflect the exact fabric color.   Different monitors and computers show colors differently.   If you need an exact color match, you can get a mill swatch from Gildan that shows the real fabric colors.   Feel free to contact us to ask us about actual fabric colors.
